Preparation for PGD treatment

Preparation for a PGD cycle consists of several stages and is the most time consuming part of the process. Preparation for a PGD cycle involves:

• Referral to the PGD team - see the referrals section for more information
• an initial consultation
• applying for funding
• organising laboratory testing
• blood tests and your second appointment
• obtaining your consent
• preparatory investigations
