We are based at Guy's Hospital - part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust|, we are the leading experts in the field of fertility and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, with an international reputation for excellence.

We expect that you will already know much about the condition in your family and how it is inherited, so this website focuses on:

• what preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is and how it may help you to achieve a pregnancy by avoiding the genetic condition known in your family
• the conditions that we can test for
• how to be referred, including information on funding
• information about the team and the pioneering work that we do
• information on our success rates

Many of the words used in this website may be new to you, so there is a glossary| in the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section to explain any words you might not understand.
